Set Your Clamp Rod Position.

Install Your GenTent Clamps.

Install your GenTent Frame Rods.

Ensure frame rods are fully seated in the center connector to prevent tension-related damage or failure. See proper rod installation tips here .

Install the GenTent Canopy and Electrical Apron.

Does your generator have a blocked or obstructed frame?
Some generators may require a frame adaptation to install GenTent properly. This includes models with:

Muffler heat shields attached to the frame
Crossbars or panels blocking clamp access
Smaller frames between 76–80″ (standard) or 106–111″ (XL)

Installing GenTent on a DuroMax generator?
Some DuroMax models feature inset electric panels or blocked corners that require slight clamp positioning adjustments:

Mount the clamp slightly higher where the panel is recessed
Continue with the standard installation after clamp setup
