Yes, but generators should always operate outdoors with proper protection. GenTent products are engineered to help protect generators from rain and storm conditions while maintaining ventilation and airflow during operation.
GenTent systems are independently tested and rated for forecast winds up to 110 MPH, equivalent to Category 2 hurricane-force conditions. GenTent products are also tested for 18 inches of rain per hour and 20 inches of snow load.
Always operate generators outdoors at least 20 feet from your home, with exhaust directed away from doors, windows, and vents. Never operate generators inside garages, sheds, or enclosed spaces.
