Outlet Moisture Protection Testing

What the testing showed
An independent product testing firm, 360 Product Testing, simulated heavy, wind-driven rain to see how well a GenTent protects a generator in severe weather. Two different generators: a traditional portable generator and an inverter generator were run with GenTent covers installed. Powerful equipment was used to blast high-volume rain and strong airflow at the covered generators from multiple directions, closely mimicking the kind of sideways rain you see during intense storms.

The testing lasted over 10 minutes of continuous exposure, with rainfall amounts carefully measured to ensure the conditions were truly severe, not just a light sprinkle.

The result?
After the testers exposed the generator covered with GenTent to drenching rain from all sides, all outlets and electrical panels remained completely dry.

The bottom line:
GenTent is designed to handle driving rain and gusty conditions, keeping your generator protected even when rain is pouring hard and from every direction.

In short: Water and electricity don't mix, and GenTent keeps your generator's electical components dry, even when the rain is falling sideways.
