DuroMax Running Covers by GenTent® — FAQ
Yes. GenTent covers are engineered to keep your DuroMax running safely in severe weather while maintaining airflow and service access. Always operate your generator outdoors and at least 20 feet from buildings, with exhaust pointed away from occupied spaces.
Original Size—the most common fit for open-frame DuroMax units and robust square-post frames using our Universal Clamp System (no tools, no drilling). Typically covers ~3,000–13,000W open frames and many larger units with standard frames.
XL Size—for the largest open-frame generators and large fully-enclosed inverter cases. Choose XL when perimeter/case size exceeds the Original range.
