Installing the Universal Clamps.

If you need help finding the right position, enter your generator’s make and model at gentent.com/clamp-setting to get the exact clamp settings.

Installing the Frame Rods and Center Connector.

Ensure frame rods are fully seated in the center connector to prevent tension-related damage or failure. See proper rod installation tips here .

Installing the GenTent Canopy.

Always position the GenTent refuel door on the side farthest from the exhaust to reduce the risk of igniting spilled fuel. Learn how to identify the safe refueling side for your model .

Are your clamps plastic with rubber sleeves? If so, you have the older model of our GenTent clamps. For most generators, the installation procedure for these clamps is nearly identical to the Universal Clamps featured in these instructions, but there may be some variance - especially for generators with blocked frame posts.
